This site, it’s content and I am a work in progress. My views on things and the subjects this site covers will probably change, develop or expand. I’m sharing what I have discovered so far. I hope you can have some use of it too.
Who am I?
Well, my name is Henrik Edberg and I’m a 29 year old guy from Sweden. I’ve dived into topic of personal development and immersed myself. I implement what I have learned and I learn from my own experiments and experience and figure out how to build a better life.
So what have a done so far? A few examples:
- Switched from a generally pretty negative attitude to a much more positive one. If you want to do the same then the most helpful article I have written about doing so is in my opinion 8 Awesome Reasons to Blast Negativity Out of Your Life, and How to Do It.
- Lost 26 pounds of fat during 4 months in the winter/spring of 2009. I did it by using a program called Turbulence Training, check out the review here.
- Become a lot more present. I used to live a lot of my life in my head, in the past and in the future. Today I spend a lot more time living it in the present moment. It’s a wonderful thing. Read about all of that it in 7 Awesome Reasons to Be Present, and How to Do It.
- I have become a less shy and more confident person. For becoming more confident a good place to start is How to Build Self Confidence: 6 Essential and Timeless Tips. I have written dozens of articles about improving your social skills. Two of my favorites are How to Improve Your Relationships: 7 Awesome Tips from the Last 1900 Years and Wayne Dyer’s Top 8 Tips for Building a Better Social Life. A good one on body language is Do You Make These 7 Body Language Mistakes?
- I have created a highly successful blog. This blog has – in November of 2009 – 18000+ subscribers via email and RSS and hundreds of thousands of visitors each month. How did I do it? How to Build a Somewhat Successful Blog: 16 Lessons I Have Learned have a lot of answers.
But I am not an expert, I am merely an enthusiast.
What I write about are things that have had a positive effect on my life. Some or maybe many of these thoughts and strategies will possibly work for you too to some degree. We are all unique, but perhaps more importantly, we are all very similar.
But I’m not a professional, I’m not a psychologist and no information on this site should be construed as psychological advice. I give no guarantees and this site is for entertainment purposes only.
