Hi,
loved all the quotes on this post :)
my fav is “We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don’t like?”
It is amusing and inspiring.
I agree we have to take risks to create the opening for more luck to come into our lives. That means, having faith and courage.
But there are some people, who tend to be ore luckier than others. Why is it so? Is it their stars..or something else?

Let dozens of folks with basically the same skills start a similar business and some of them will fail while others will succeed. So luck does indeed exist. Without it, there wouldn't be a universe.
I recommend you to take a FREE "good luck trip" at my website, www.goodlucktrips.com
It really works (but you must believe in it)
Good Luck!

Well, I believe luck does exist in our lives to a certain extent. And right here, I'm referring to both good and bad luck. Luck is a trivial but a crucial and magical force to be reckoned with in anything and everything we do.

I'm sure there are times that things just won't go your way or turn out the way you want it to be in spite of all your sweat and hardwork. Luck does play its part.

All four tips here must be refined from many books and experiences i think :). I agree that we should prepare for the opportunity, work more to have chances to catch it but the most important tip is the #4.

Everything happened to you has its own lesson to teach you, and the great man will learn it, be better and go through.

For me, luck is our own perception. When bad things happen, we say it is bad luck. When good things happen, we say it is good luck. So, say that we want to have good things happen in our life, being proactive is indeed going to get us there.

I love the positive spin on 'bad luck". In my view, no experience is ever wasted if I can learn something from it.

And Susan - the power of saying "Yes" should not be underestimated. I've had tremendous (ahem) luck saying yes to opportunities - especially the ones that scared me a little!

Thanks for this post about luck -- it's one of my favorite topics!

I also believe that you're as lucky as you think you are, and the luckier you think you are...the luckier you are. Even when bad things happy, people who think they're lucky see it as "I'm so lucky THAT didn't happen" (thinking of something even worse than what actually happened).

I'm so lucky I found your blog! :-)
