Thanks for the post! One thing in particular that struck me was waking up earlier. I have personally found that to be the most productive time in my day.

I really like #4 too. I mean, all these are good. But #4 is, in my mind, most important. You have to have a mind of being open to possibilities. Everything is possible.

Hi Glenn,

Working hard is needed to help us achieve results and working smart will ensure that we will be able to double the results and have things done in a lesser amount of time. This 2 factors are intertwined and being able to work hard and smart at the same time will ensure that we will receive some incredible results.

Cheers

Another cool article for morning inspiration, thanks Glen. I believe that your point number one "Be honest with yourself and with others" should be the first thing to think about if an individual starts on a path of personal development. This is the clarity of purpose that provides supporting pillar in hard times when we ask "why".

I'm honest: I don't like the path I'm on and never have. The PROBLEM is that I don't know what path I do want to be on.

That's a very big obstacle and the "find your bliss" and "what did you love to do when you were 5?" just doesn't point to North.

I've been seeking for the path for years and years and asking for help too.

Great post Glen, I was particularly drawn to your emphasis on being honest to yourself and others.

I posted about the importance of being true to yourself and too others in this post last year - http://billriddell.com/it-is-your-life/

Too many of use are molded to the hopes, wishes and prodding of those around us. They slowly force us into a place deep down we dont want to be yet we feel powerless to escape from. If you can stay true to what you want from life, focus on what you want from your life rather than what others would like for you then hapiness will follow.

Have a great day,

Bill

Hi Glen,

Well-done! I especially like #4. I've met so many people who are so sceptical of things and narrow-minded that in the end, they're stuck in a job they hate and still think that's the way life is.

They think a job is just a mean to survive and there's no better way to make a living. They're not open-up to ideas that it is possible to make a living doing what you love, and that there are other ways to earn an income other than a job.

Kudos to you for writing this excellent piece!

Cheers~
