So, after several readers have recommended it and after reading about how some of my favourite bloggers like it, I have decided to start twittering.
Now, twittering is a sort of micro-blogging. You only get 140 characters to play with in each message. Much like when sms-ing on your cell phone.
I’ll probably use it not so much to tell everyone what I had for dinner, but rather to share links and snippets of info, random thoughts and to have some fun conversations and get to know people a bit better. Stuff that may fit better in this format than on the blog.
So I’ll try this out for a while and we’ll see what happens. Join me if you like. Accounts at twitter.com are free and you can download the desktop program Twhirl for free too to create an experience similar to using your favourite instant messenger.

- Buying an ad on the blog has become easier. You can now pay directly to PayPal via links on the advertise page and then just email me your banners, links and ad-texts.

I too need to board the twitter train. I just don’t want to do it until I know I’ll have the time to follow through. Perhaps in January.

One of the best things you can do w/twitter is set it up so it automatically streams your posts out to your readers on twitter (with less work on your part).
