Here´s an odd clip I found.
It’s the two famous personal development speakers/writers Brian Tracy and Jim Rohn having a discussion about self-confidence and self-esteem, the difference between them and how to build them both. Definitely recommended listening.
The clip is six and a half minutes long. If you are a RSS-subscriber, you can listen to the clip here.

Thanks for posting this, Henrik. I do agree with the point that self-confidence comes from action. It’s hard to have confidence in your own abilities if you haven’t demonstrated them in a tangible way. I think Tracy and Rohn are really just re-stating the old idea that excellence is a habit - ie, we become what we do repeatedly.
That´s true Maria, one of the best (perhaps the best way) to gain confidence in your own abilities is to take action to get tangible proof of your own abilities.
