Here´s another batch of good quotes. I especially enjoyed the ones from Plato, Seneca and Leo Buscaglia.
Progress is the activity of today and the assurance of tomorrow.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, this time more wisely.
Unknown
Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow.
Plato
The heights by great men reached and kept were not obtained by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept,
were toiling upward in the night.
Thomas S. Monson
He who seeks rest finds boredom… He who seeks work finds rest.
Unknown
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
Seneca
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Leo Buscaglia
Know what’s weird? Day by day, nothing seems to change, but pretty soon…everything’s different.
Calvin from the comic ”Calvin and Hobbes”
Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.
Jim Rohn

Albert Einstein

Ah what great quotes you offer us!
Here’s some more that may also inspire positivity…
We all want a partner to witness our lives, so that our lives will matter to someone.â€
~ in the movie “Shall We Dance?â€, Susan Sarandon’s character
“I wanted a perfect ending… Now, I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.“
~ Gilda Radner
(On her long marriage to Michael Williams) “We were just happy to be in the same room together.”
~ Judy Dench
“Never place a period where God has placed a comma.“
~ Gracie Allen

Thanks a lot for sharing, Kare.
Some very inspiring words. Positivity builds up the right attitude. I guess the world is negative by default. If we are able to touch even a single life and make it positive, its worth it.
gagan: Thanks for the comment. I agree, it seems like much of the world is negative by default. But as you say, you can build up a better attitude.
