Yep. It can be really hard to move away from that kneejerk gut-reaction to be unkind when someone is unkind to you. The best information I have found on how to go about being kind to the unkind is in Eckhart Tolle´s book “the Power of Now” and his dvd “the Flowering of Conciousness”. Pretty amazing stuff.
