So, I joined The Million Dollar experiment

A while back Steve Pavlina put up the Million Dollar experiment. Well, actually it´s been up almost a year now and might soon be called the Two Million Dollar experiment.

So, what is it?

Well, here´s Steve´s description of the experiment and the intention you should use:

This experiment is based on the intention-manifestation model of reality, where the goal is to generate $1 million of additional wealth for each person who chooses to participate. If you wish to participate, all you need to do is to decide to put forth the following intention:

In an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way, in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all, I intend $1,000,000 to come into my life and into the lives of everyone who holds this intention.

So basically all you have to do is focus intensely on this intention for a couple of minutes every day. Maybe visualize how the money comes into yours and other people’s life. Or discuss it with others. Or blog a bit about it. :)

You just have to focus on it, but without being attached to any outcome. But in your day to day life, be on the lookout for unusual coincidences and new opportunities.

So far the 3263 public participants (people who have registered over at Steve’s site) in the project have manifested 1,931,892.46 dollars. Pretty cool.

It’s interesting that Steve says that you should be extra watchful for unusual coincidences within the first 48 hour after you start using the intention. Me, I haven’t earned any money yet but received a medium sized pay check that I wasn’t expecting at all and some small fees I thought I had to pay was greatly reduced within those first 48 hours.

So I’ll keep using this intention for a good while longer. And probably try the intention-manifestation model on other areas. If it really works or not? I don’t know. But I think it’s a great way to open the mind to financial opportunities in your life. It let’s you see new possibilities that you might have missed in the past because your mind wasn’t looking for them.
